Objective: To determine the influence of job satisfaction on the productivity of nursing technicians at the Sabogal Hospital in Callao, Peru. Method: A non-experimental, correlational and descriptive quantitative approach was followed. Results: A positive, moderate and significant correlation was identified in the dimension of job satisfaction and productivity (C.P. 0.592; Sig. 0.000), in the work environment-productivity construct (C.P. 0.514; Sig. 0.003); in the work challenge-productivity construct a strong and significant positive correlation was obtained (C.P. 0.606, Sig. 0.000); while for fair remuneration-productivity a weak and non-significant positive correlation was reached (C.P. 0.246, Sig. 0.174). Conclusions: These results are in line with other similar studies. However, the construct of remuneration contradicts current literature. This is because results may vary for different contexts, understood as different services in a hospital, hospitals in a region/city, and others.
