This research has been developed from the application of a methodical approach to the life history of a successful entrepreneur, with the aim of making ethical categories and present values emerge from history itself. The research was approached from the qualitative paradigm, by means of which it was possible to know the different generating sources of ethical principles from a philosophical understanding of the ethical field, and of the values from the axiological plane, where it can be inferred that these are formed in the individual sense from four scenarios or sources, where the character or way of being is gestated. In the first place, the source is the family nucleus, which is fundamental in the integral development of the human being, followed by the knowledge acquired through the teaching profession, from basic to higher education. Thirdly, religious, cultural, social, and political institutions stand out. Finally, the organizations occupy the fourth place, where the individual performs starting from the individual values already pre-established in all its life and that, then tries to harmonize with those of the organization, to respond effectively with the objectives and purposes of the same one. From this analysis, it is proposed to link the theme of ethics and values in the development of competencies, as well as knowledge, doing, being and living together in the student of administrative careers, using as a teaching tool the life stories of students of ethics and other subjects. It is concluded that, by linking the four scenarios as a source of ethical principles, the environment must be taken into consideration in the training process, so that, based on the student's experience, he or she will be able to contextualize, categorize and learn significantly about management approaches and styles.
