The objective of this research was to determine the influence that the work environment has on the work performance of a group of workers in the Innovation and Development area of Innova Scientific S. A. during the month of July 2021. Nonexperimental, quantitative, exploratory and descriptive design study. The research applied two methods: the first one based on the Work Climate Scale CL - SPC and the second one on a card elaborated based on Gabini’s (2018) work performance factors. Based on the answers provided by the researchers and the completion of the form by the area supervisor, the study found that there is a tendency to rate the work climate within the Innovation and Development area as favorable (72 % of the total number of respondents); however, a small number of researchers have a negative opinion about the work climate in the area in question (4.8 %). On the other hand, with regard to the work performance variable, the manager of the area rates the performance of 45 % of the workers as average and 28.75 % as favorable. It was concluded that there is a degree of correlation between the two variables and that the greater the degree of satisfaction felt by the worker in his work area, the greater his performance in the activities assigned to him.
